My First Award...

Thank you, thank you, thank you to my great friend Amanda . She gave me my very first blog award. I LOVE it! I can't wait to post it on my blog and pass it on.
The award, however, comes with rules.
The rules of the award:
1) Choose a minimum of 7 blogs that you find brilliant in content or design.
2) Show the 7 winners names and links on your blog, and leave a comment informing them that they were prized with "Honest Scrap." Well, there's no prize, but they can keep the nifty icon.
3) List at least 10 honest things about yourself.
Ok...first things first....
The blogs I am awarding...
Amanda did 5 so I am doing 5 :)
There are so many blogs that I love. It's become quite the addiction in my life.
Here are 10 things about me:
  1. I love reading blogs. I wish that I could write as eloquently as some of the ones I read. I love that so many women take time out of their busy days to tell me the best deals I can find out there. I find comfort in those blogs that speak of their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. I am amazed at the strength and faith at those who mourn and grieve through their blogs. I love knowing that no matter where in the world you are a mom, your stories are eerily similar. Oh, why do I find blogs so intriguing?
  2. I believe that God put my family smack dab, right in the middle of this little town in Kentucky at this exact time for a reason.
  3. I think expensive purses/bags are silly. Why should I spend hundreds of dollars on something that will never have more than a 20 dollar bill inside of it?
  4. I am still proud of my 3-point record in high school.
  5. I think I am most proud of giving birth to Maggie with no drugs. (God knew to make it quick though...He knows I couldn't take much more than a half hour.)
  6. As much as I sometimes complain about how much my kids drive me batty....there is nothing else in the world I'd rather be doing than simply being their mommy.
  7. I couldn't be the mom I am without my husband.
  8. I would love to fulfill the destiny God has laid out for me in such a way that would make Him proud.
  9. I lived in MI all my life and didn't go over the Mackinac Bridge until I was 23.
  10. I have a great life. My childhood was great, I have great parents, college was great, my married life is great, my kids are great, my friends are great.
