Oh, our Miss Molly….
About a week ago, the kids received a few bucks from Great-Gramma to spend at the Dollar Store. The next day we headed out for the kids to search out the perfect dollar gift for themselves. They found these inflatable kickboard things. Molly’s was princess theme, of course. We go home and the kids wanted to get the pool out and immediately blow up their new treasures. The kids had a great time. Jumping in and out of our kiddie pool. Molly attempting to actually try and use her kickboard the correct way in the aforementioned kiddie pool. I was using the time to read and enjoying the spare minutes to get through a page or two. Molly and everything sweet about her, comes over with her kickboard to chat with me for a few minutes. I couldn’t tell you what she was chatting about, but whatever it was she was into it. The next second, the wind picks up and blows the kickboard out of her hand and lands on the patio next to her. She looks down at it, looks back at me and with a puzzled look on her face says,
“What the hell?”
As soon as the words left her mouth & she saw the look on my face, she came back with, “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. I meant ‘What the heck?’ I then turned my head and had to smile…not because of what she said, but the look on her face when she watched the kickboard blow from her hand and land on the ground. HILARIOUS!!!
