38 weeks & 4 days

Ok darlin...it's time to come out. What are you waiting for. I know Molly was yelling at you this morning, but she is just really excited to meet you, hold you, love you, kiss you. I know that hearing "Maggie, Maggie, come out! Come out now!" would sound a little scary from inside the womb...again, she is just really wanting to meet you. Your sister is a force of nature. I'm sure that you will learn a lot from her...you will either learn to be her partner in crime or pick up on the fact that she gets in trouble quite often and learn to make a better choice. Either way she is crazy about you already.

Your brother is excited too. He wants to name you Mario. He says that Uncle Joel's Mario game is "so cool" and he thinks you would like to have the name Mario. I told him he could call you Mario if he wanted, but don't worry, we won't put that on your birth certificate. Still not sure what we are going to call you, but your daddy shot down the latest name, Mila. We'll see what you look like before naming you.

I think your brother and sister were trying to prepare me last night for your arrival. I woke up at one a.m. to Max whispering, "Come on Molly, it's time to go catch fireflies." I went into their room a million and one times to remind them to be quiet. I found Max down on Molly's bunk reading Scooby Doo to her. He was making the Scooby sound effects and everything. I'm sure that he'll read Scooby Doo to you too. He has already mastered climbing in and out of your crib, so I'm sure it'll be one day soon when I find him in there reading to you.

I finally decided that I wasn't going to get any sleep unless I stayed in there. So with you in tow, the three of you and mommy had a nice little slumber party on the floor. I finally ended back up in my bed at 4 a.m. That was after Max told me his McQueen blanket wasn't comfy enough so we switched blankets. Then Molly informed me, "Momma, my water isn't cold enough". To be honest with you little one, she scares me a little bit too. I just can't let her catch on to that fact.

We are ready for you. We can't wait to meet you and love you and watch you grow and find out what type of personality you are going to have. Oh and are you going to look more like you momma or your brother and sister and daddy? Daddy thinks that you are going to look more like me. We'll see. Come out and find out. We can't wait for you to be a part of our family.

We love you.

I like the name Maggie. It's very cute. If this one is half as cute as the other two, she can pull that name off. :)
